Can DVC renters add DDP? How? thanks

This trip I rented DVC points and was wondering if I am able to add Disney Dining Plan?
I am purchasing 6 day Hopper pass tickets.
If so How? I don't see anywhere on my DME to add this. thanks

The DVC member you're renting from has to purchase DDP for you; you would pay the owner and they would pay Disney.

As Faldred said, you have to get the DVC member to get it for you, which also requires payment in full at the time it's ordered.

Tickets are not required. And DVC is never eligible for free dining, just in case that's why you mentioned the tickets...

I know FD is not available for DVC but when I go to Disney's website it says that you have to have a Magic your way package to get DDP, so I was confused since I did not do the conventional package. Thanks

I rented through Dave's in February and gave a Disney Gift Card # to the owner, who added the DxDP using a Disney Gift Card more than 30 days in advance. DVC Rental Store works similarly, but you can't used a Disney Gift Card.
