If I order a margarita w/dinner (using DDE card) can I take this drink to go if not finished? are table service restaurant drinks usually higher in price than their counter equivalents anyways?

A couple of times when we ate at a sit down restaurant I ended up with my soda glass being refilled--and hardly touched by me. So I grabbed my ds' empty child's cup with lid, poured my drink in, and took it with me to sip through the park.

All of the Disney restaurants that serve alcohol permit you to leave the premises with your drink in a to go cup. The exceptions are the non-Disney owned restaurants/clubs e.g., Jelly Rolls or House of Blues (although they have done it for us in the past with the admonition they weren't supposed to).

We, more often than not, take drinks from our meals "to go" so we can hit the park quicker. You cannot, however, leave the parks any longer with unconsumed alcohol. EPCOT used to allow you to leave with your drinks--especially around the International Gate area, but they weren't allowing this the last couple of visits. Now, the reverse was okay i.e., they permitted us to bring unfinished drinks into the park (from the Boardwalk area). :confused3

Hope that answers your question!
