Can Disneyland tickets be upgraded?

I'm thinking of buying our tickets through a recommended reseller like I do for our WDW tickets. If we want to add a day and/or the park hopper option can we do that?

Do you mean through the vendor or once on location? I've never had a problem upgrading onsite, have even upgraded tickets to APs no problem. Don't have experience with online.
