in past years, the CS kids meals have been plenty of food for our children but this year my oldest daughter's appetite is insatiable -seriously she eats more then me a lot of times!

I know some of the kids CS meals we have gotten before won't be enough food for her this year...is she allowed to order regular CS meals on DDP or can she only get the kids meals?

TIA!

If you find that the kids meal is enough for you, then you two can 'swap' (just a suggestion). I always found the kids meals more than enough for me. Just a more limited choice.

Yes, thats what I am thinking...I do actually like hot dogs and other kids meal type foods, so I could let her have the adult meals and I will taker her kids meals!!! Thanks guys!:)

Not sure but I think you can upgrade her to an adult. This may help if you think it would be worth the money.

This is what I did on our most recent trip.

Disney really does need a tween option.
If she were my child, I would upgrade her to an adult. I have read of people doing this with kids as young as seven. My DD's are (and always have been) foodies. No chicken nuggets or burgers would keep them happy. The kid's offerings are very limited (which works for some, but will you be happy eating it?.) Good luck and happy vaca!

If you are there for Free Dining then it's probably worth uping her to an adult.

If you are staying at a moderate or deluxe resort then the cost is only the price difference from a child's ticket to an adult ticket.

If you are at a value resort and upgraded to DDP then the cost is a bit more as you have to pay the adult price to upgrade the DDP and the ticket upgrade.

Well, since the op is asking specifically about CS meals, I say share both the adult and the child's meal, since you seem to like some of the child's offerings. We find there is MORE than enough food to share and satisfy hungry appetites many times. For example, there are times that I will get a salad , drink and dessert with my CS credit, DD will get chicken nuggets/drink, fruit, dessert. We'll cut the chicken nuggets up into the salad, share that and then share the remaining sides and desserts.

Plus, look in the sticky at the top of the page where there are quite a few good options of CS where there is no different adult/child menu, that works well too. For example, Casey's, hot dogs is not separated, adult and child is the same meal. More than enough to satisfy hungry kids.

I'm talking strictly on CS, now TS is a different story where the children's menu is much more limiting...

Ha Ha. You know, at Cosmic Ray's the Hot Dog is an adult meal. :confused3 I ate the kiddie meal here and my son ate the Hot Dog meal.
