Actually, yes. But only if the Canadian member is posted and working at a US military facility. DH was posted to 3 different American bases during his career, and we were able to buy military discount tickets and stay at SOG. But ONLY while he was posted there.

When the ship pulled into San Diego, we would go to the PX and get our tickets there for discounted price, but you can't get the same deal as US military outside of the USA.

My brother was in the Canadian Military for a very long time and he just retired. He looked into this a few years ago. The only way Cnd Military can get the US military discounts is if they are stationed on a US base.

Discounted tickets are available to serving and retired Canadian Military. You must go to the ticket sales office in the Shades of Green resort ( the US Army recreation centre). We have been buying tickets there for years. The discount is not as great at the US PX system tickets, but every little bit helps.As wekk, they sell tickets at a discount for all the major attractions in Florida including Universal, Gatorland, SeaWorld and Busch Gardens. Worth looking into. Note: tickets can only be bought in person. Second Note: Shades of Green has great buffet breakfast and dinners, also worth looking into.

I have not heard of this. Looked at their website but did not find anymore information there. Do you remember how discounted they were? or What the discount is called?

My brother is Navy, and I think he got the info on what Disney tickets were available on his base here in Canada, but he had to go to a rec centre in Florida to buy the tickets when he arrived. It wasn't Shades of Green, it was somewhere near the airport. (Unfortunately I can't get exact details from him since he's somewhere off the coast of Italy, and my SIL doesn't remember.)
