Can Bell Services hold our luggage until late in the night?

We are planning a September visit to DW and I'm wondering if I could, on my checkout day, leave my luggage with Bell services and withdraw it late at night (after a full park day).
Also, according to your experience, Would it be difficult to find an Uber or Lyft (for going to a Universal hotel) at about 11pm?

Thanks in advance

Luis

Bell Services can definitely hold your luggage until after your park day ends, we have done that in the past.

I can't speak to the Uber / Lyft availability, but can't imagine there would be any reason why it wouldn't be readily available, hopefully someone with experience will chime in,

FamilyGuy,

Thanks for your answer.
What we would like to do is to checkout early, leave our luggage with Bell Service and visit a park(probably AK). After AK closes, we would retrieve our luggage and go to Universal using Uber or Lyft

Hold on, which resort? Cuz I think that some of the value resorts have limited times that Bell Services is open.

ok, i believe value resorts close their bell services at 11 pm.

see this for Pop Century:

not sure what this means other than having to have front office staff help you. Unless they stop offering luggage services at 11 pm
Thanks for the info and the link, had forgotten about the site and will check it at the soonest...

Well, I suppose that means we would be retrieving our luggage at 10-10:30pm at the latest. I think that should be OK, having in account that our park that day would be, probably, AK.

I'll ask directly in the PlanDisney website and will post the answer when (and if) I get it.

Thanks again,
Luis

AK closes earliest of all the parks- 8pm right now and with no signs of a new night show on the horizon I wouldn’t expect that to change so you don’t need to worry about it being late.

Also if you start with early entry you will finish everything in the park long before closing.

You can get your luggage from the desk 24/7. The bellhops go home at a certain time and deliveries/pickups from rooms stop, but the front desk will have a key to the storage room for later pickups.

I actually did this on my most recent check-in day. Dropped off my bags, went to the parks, came back around midnight, then someone from the front desk walked over with me and retrieved my bag.

Well, we were thinking of visiting AK after doing early entry at Epcot... But you are right, AK has an early closing time..

Thanks for the tip,

Luis

Yikes. Do not bother asking them. They have been known to give out wrong answers and Disney has no obligation to abide by what those volunteers say.
You would think that they, of all the people, should give the most accurate info... Sigh. (That's the reason these boards exist)

Nice to know.

It depends on your priorities. If it's just Everest, Safari, and Flight of Passage, sure. But there is so much to AK!! Not just the rides...the trails, Rafiki's Planet Watch and Animation Academy, the safari more than once as animals come and go and some change out during the day...

I can easily get there at early entry and still not be ready to leave by the time the park closes.

Ooh. Agree wholeheartedly. Been there before and done all of that. In fact, on our prior visits we always reserved two days for each park. Unfortunately, this will be, per force, a very short trip to the US, and we don't have very much time for each park. We will be trying to check the attractions added after our last trip (2013!!). For our last day, that would mean Guardians and not much more in Epcot and Pandora in AK (as everyone have told us it is better at dark).

Best Regards,
Luis

Lyft will be no problem. I've taken very late and very early Lyfts often.
