You can upgrade a ticket but not downgrade a ticket. So, if the MYW no expire is cheaper than the AP, I don't think you would be able to do that.

I may be wrong, but I don't think that you can do what you are proposing. I believe that you can only use the credit for older passes on a pass that has more value. So I think that the only thing that you could get with the credit of an AP is a Premium Annual Pass.

As I said, I may be wrong though...

The reason why I was thinking about this is because I bought one for me to get the discount and the rest of the family myw.

The trip had to be cut short so I added th no expire on their tickets.

We will probably not return within a year and it would nice to make it a non expire, so that we all have the same tickets.

Any other options?

Since it sounds like your AP is already activated, I'm pretty sure the answer is no. Once activated, it is good for one year, regardless of whether it is used or not. The only change you can make is to upgrade it to a PAP and it will still expire on the same day. If you can't get back before it expires, I'm afraid you are just out of luck.

If you had an unactivated AP voucher, you might be able to trade it for MYW tickets.

I'm sorry you had to cut your trip short.

I found out on my trip that I have Grave's Disease.

Treatment for it takes a while and I am not sure that I will be ok for a year.

It would not hurt to e-mail Guest Services. Explain your situation. All they can do is say No. I doubt they would under usual conditions. But it would be a nice gesture if they would in your case.
I think we figure the Unofficial Rule of Thumb is if costs less, then No.
