Can anyone tell my about the Green Ribbons

Can anyone give me information about the green ribbons. What they mean and what shade of green.
We are going Nov 14-Nov 21 2001.

DISers wear lime green ribbons just to show that we're from the DIS, and sometimes you can unexpectedly meet up with another DISer this way.

Yes Lime green is the DIS color!!! wear it a ribbon...it a shirt..on hat if you like!! Some suggest even putting it on your luggage at the airport so you can find your bags better then you have a ribon to wear that makes all around you KNOW YOUR A DISer!!!!! YAY!!! I wore mine on the back of a white hat and wore one on my shirt so Id be noticed coming and going!
