Can anyone tell me where the closest Publix is to Old Key West

There is one at the intersection of SR 535 (Apopka Vineland Road) and Hwy 192.

There is one on Hway 192 near Celebration.

There is one on Sand Lake Road at Dr Phillips Blvd.

The Celebration Publix and the Sand Lake Publix are nicer than the SR 535 Publix and they are all pretty much the same distance from Old Key West.

There is a Winn Dixe on SR 535 which is closer. Take a Hotel Plaza Blvd to 535 and take a left. It's about 1.5 miles on right.

There is also a Super Walmart closer than any Publix. Take a Hotel Plaza Blvd to 535 and take a right. It's about 2 miles on right.

There is a Goodings in the Crossroads shopping center, but it has become an embarrassing dive with the worst service I have ever received. I would avoid Goodings AT ALL COSTS.

The shelves are half stocked. The fridges dont work . The carpets are stained and the help is downright nasty. You will be far better off at Publix, Winn Dixie or Walmart.

There is also a Super Target nearby. Take SR 535 to the intersection of Hwy 192. Take a left and it's 1/2 a mile on the left.

Thanks, Kevin! I knew I'd seen a Walmart around there the last time we were down and couldn't figure out which one it was from the Walmart site. Would this be the store on Vineland? Walmart doesn't show a store on 535.

Florida is famous for giving one road numerous names.

Vineland Rd and SR 535 and Apopka Vineland Road are all the same road, but please, do not try to make sense of this as there are Vineland Roads everywhere.

Also, Hwy 192 is Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Space Coast Blvd (old name but you still see it), Main Street and 13th Street (in St Cloud).

If you are using MapQuest, this could drive you insane.
