Can anyone tell me what Minnie Seasonal Christmas at H&V is like?

My kids are toddlers and we are heading back to WDW early December 2018. We did Tusker House and Chef Mickey's last time, my kids loved the character meals more than the character meet and greets. They love Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald and Daisy. I was planning on doing Chef Mickey's again and wouldn't mind trying out a few other character meals with Mickey and co (doesn't even have to be all 5 of them). Can anyone tell me how the Minnie Seasonal Christmas H&V is like? It doesn't list any info about the Christmas one on WDW website when I looked up H&V. Is this something that is offered every year? Thanks!

They've been rotating themes for Minnie's Seasonal Dining for about 1.5 years or so. It's always the same character cast, but different costumes. It seems very popular, I don't expect them to change it.

I was lucky and caught the first day of the theme change in November, so I got to see both Halloween and Christmas.

It's the usual buffet food. Still had a "Halloweeny" touch when I went, but I've assuming the pumpkin parts become peppermint or cranberry maybe once the season gets in full swing. :D

You'll meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy. Goofy was Santa Goofy and at the photo stop with the backdrop. The other four had very nice festive outfits in green and red that I had never seen before. If you are interested I'll post some photos.

Thanks! That sounds great!

Some people say the buffet is not that good, but me and my friends (we were a group of 4 for the Halloween version) thought it was perfectly fine. 2 of us even said that it among the restaurants they preferred most.

I've attached three photos I took of the Halloween theme on the buffet and pictures of the Christmas character outfits. Hope this gives you an idea. I changed my plans last second when an opening for the meal popped up and I thought it was totally worth it.

Thanks so much! It’s on my list for sure, we’ll be there when the Christmas theming is going on; the costumes look adorable. I’m sure the buffet will be fine for us. We love chef mickeys buffet food LOL

We just did this on our December trip with our two grandsons, ages 3 & 5. The food was good, and the characters were great all dressed in their Christmas finery! The kids loved getting their pictures taken with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy & Santa Goofy, even the big kids!

We did the Halloween meal in October and the Christmas meal in early January and both were SO GOOD...everything about them, that we are going in April for the Fantasmic Meal!

This looks great! We are planning a nov trip and hoping to hit MVMCP. i think we'll have to add this to our things to do! Does it run in november usually? Also, does it count under the DDP?

A contrary opinion here. If you have little ones you almost have to do the meal but it is the only restaurant in WDW to make my families never again list. But saying that when the girls were very young I sucked it up and took them.
