Hi, I'm wondering if the 2nd bedroom in a 2-br dedicated home has two bathrooms or just the one main bathroom. Please let me know. Thank you.

I have visited friends in a two bedroom dedicated unit at OKW & yes, they did have two bathrooms - one in the "one-bedrrom" part & one in the "studio" part. It was awhile ago, but I believe the kitchen setup in the studio part was a bit different. I'm sure someone else will give you more details.

There are two bathrooms. When we stayed at OKW with a deciated 2 bedroom the
bathroom was part of the bedroom suite. It has a bathtub/shower, toilet and sink. Reminded me of a hotel room that is connected to the hallway, living room, dinning area and kitchen. On the other side of the kitchen is a hall with the landry room and entrance to the master suite. This is layed out like a typical one bedroom suite.

I stayed in a dedicated 2 bedroom with 3 friends about 3 years ago, before I became a member (that weekend turned my head!). I was in the second bedroom, we had our own bathroom and since it was a dedicated 2 bedroom we had 2 bathroom sinks & counters, one inside the bathroom and one outside. The second sink counter took the place of the kitchenette in a lockoff studio. Plus where the outside door would be in a studio was a walk-in closet. So it worked out perfect - we each had our own sink & closet in the 2nd bedroom.

I'm sure that WebmasterDoc can help me out on this one, but there is a slight difference between 2BR units in buildings 1 through 30 than in all the others at OKW. The first 30 buildings do not have the extra door to the master bathroom. You have to go through one of the bedrooms in order to reach the facilities. Starting with building 31 (or maybe 30???), they added a door so that you can get to the master bathroom without having to go through the master bedroom.

I was going to ask about this ? We have a 2 bedroom lock-out booked for this month. So we should be assigned to one of the buildings from 30-56 (or 62-64) ? Thanks.

Depends upon how nice you are - I like my bathroom to be mind - sorry - which is why I get a 2-bedroom - they have their bathroom and I have mind.

No, there are 2 bedroom lockoffs located throughout the OKW property. What the previous poster was mentioning was an additional doorway to the master bathroom. Prior to building 30, the only way to get to the master bathroom was through the master bedroom. After building 30, the builders made a slight change and added an additional doorway to the master bathroom that is located in the laundry room of the unit. This way, if you have people staying on the fold out couch in the living room they can enter a bathroom (with a toilet) without out having to actually enter a bedroom. That is the difference between the lower building numbers and the higher building numbers.

Thank you Towncrier and Sgtdisney. So, a "lock-out" unit simply means you get the kitchenette vs the extra bathroom vanity & sink ? Sorry for the confusion on my part.

Yes you are correct. Plus, with a lockout, you will get a seperate entrance to the the 2nd bedroom from outside in lieu of a walk in closet.

Thanks for the info Sgtdisney. This is pretty cool to have the outside entrance....though the extra closet space would be nice also.

The differences between lockout and dedicated are simply not getting the kitchenette and extra entrance. You do get an extra closet where the door would be.
