Can anyone tell me if it made it to Thanksgiving?

I promised myself I wouldn't worry about it - I knew it most likely wouldnt survive the first major rain storm - but I think about it all of the time - Does anyone know if the Duct Tape Pirate Ship is still alive?

Elaine - It was there last Friday (11/20) and still looking fine. The "trash can shark" was nowhere to be seen, but the rest was great. We had rain most of yesterday - so...... But duct tape is a very hardy product, and a little rain shouldn't bring any harm to your fabulous display!

We've been admiring your ship! We are in 729, just a few sites over from the pirate ship. Last night there were 3 deer right behind it.

It's taken some hits from the rain, but I think it just looks like cannon shots. Seems to have held up remarkably well!

As of this morning the ship is gone. It POURED all day yesterday, so that probably took a toll. The ship was still there yesterday afternoon, but I walked over to Pioneer Hall around 7:30 this morning before checking out and it was gone.

So, it made it until December 4th. Not too bad for a Halloween decoration!
