Trying to figure out the best/cheapest way for my son and sister to get to Universal. I know about Mears...but heard about the Lynx transportation. I just can't seem to find enough info to figure out how they do the Lynx.

There is a web site here.
http://www.golynx.com/
You can get from the TTC to SWF and back with one bus, it's the #50.
But going to Universal involves 3 busses and it would take too much time.
You'll have to pay for the limo service.
I've written to Lynx about having a bus that goes from WDW to Universal but really didn't get an answer back. I think it's one of those thing Disney won't allow to happen. It's a wonder they even allow the #50 to SWF.

Honestly, I tell everyone to rent the car. That way you can drop them off at SWF, and Universal. Not to mention take a side trip to Tampa and visit BGT.

Thanks for the info. My sister and son are going for the day. So they are going to just do the Mears for 14.00.

Now I have to find info on that.

the disney mears bus used to leave from dtd.
check it out before you go. yes, it is $14 per person rt.

if you go way early in the morning before rush hour, you can get from disney to universal by taxi for $25. i did that once.
if there are two of you, the taxi could be cheaper as long as you don't go during rush hour traffic.

i now use the town car service which is $35 for most of them.
it takes you door to door if you are switching hotels from disney to universal
if you are going for the day only, you will be dropped off near ioa then outside of city walk.
