Can anyone tell me how to get a temporary DDE card?

My mother is at the airport and has forgotten her card. I see some people have gotten a temporary card. Can someone explain how to go about getting one and does it act the same as the real one for 30-45 days? Thanks!

Relations at the parks or DTD. If nothing else they can point her in the right direction.

There is a process in place since they have a $25 charge for replacing lost cards.
