Didn't even know there was such a thing - Details anyone?
Do I need to sign up for it? How much does it cost? Where do they hold it?
How often? :confused3

we haven't heard of that but we are going to do "Wines around the world" this summer instead of the beers. We LOVE our wine and figure that we will just sample the wines from all of the countries that offer it. It should be interesting! If there is a wine tasting, I'd love to hear about it as well!

I know that at least Germany, France, and Italy have wine tasting in the pavilions. As for as I know, they are available all day. They generally have a cast member assigned to a counter inside a shop and they will have a few red and white wines. Don't quote me on this because it is just a number off the top of my head, but $9 keeps coming to mind for the price per person. They will not ship wine purchases back to the room, so be prepared to lug around the boxes when you find ones you like.

Yes, they have a pretty nice tasting. The cast member will pour samples while they explain each wine. They are usually very animated and it is a good time to learn some more about their home cultures. It doesn't take terribly long, but it always feels like a nice break.

Is this just for the Food & Wine Festival or available all year??? Please tell me all year!!! :yay:

Thanks.

I did the wine tasting in Germany over the weekend. I sampled four different whites for (I think) about $8. Each wine was described along with the region it hails from. It was fun. Each sample was about two ounces and I left with a nice warm glow!

DH and I did the tastings at all 3 of those countries. We split the tasting because I was not a wine drinker. The tasting made me realize that I didn't like wine because I had not found the right one for me. We bought many glasses of wine after that. :goodvibes It was a lot of fun. I really liked the German wines. Italy had a wine called Bellini that was winderful. I did not care for the French wines. My DH liked them all. I've been trying all kinds of different wines since returning home. I've started a nice wine collection.
You can also check out Japan. They have sake that you can buy by the glass. The CM told us they could send our wine up to the front of Epcot so we didn't have to carry it around, but we chose not too.
