I recently read somewhere on here about people attending a convention of some sort at Disney World for scrapbooking. I would like to know all of the details plus personal views of anyone that has attended. Is it open to anyone? What happens during the convention? I need registration info, place, dates, times, well everything you can give me. If you have any photos please post these as well.
I would be very thankful. :)

Your best place to find all about this is in the sticky thread SDV on the top of this page. It starts with our plans and then moves on to our trip reports and photos that we shared from the last year. We also have another thread starting with some things for next year. You can also find out more about it by going to www.dreameventsinc.com (I believe that is right). The main website is down for the next 24 hours but you can check it tomorrow night or Friday. The rates range from $125 (for 1 day without a room) to about $1000 (for a whole package alone).

Oy where do we start! One word - fabulous!!!

Is it open to anyone? yep, it is.

What happens during the convention? Essentially it is a great big 72 hour crop. the room is open 24 hours a day from Thursday to Sunday afternoon. There are also Classes available to learn new techniques, make pages, and other altered things. There is music, prizes, and lots of vendors.

I need registration info, place, dates, times, well everything you can give me. you can get all of that at www.dreameventsinc.com like Rebecca said, the site is down for maintenance right now but will be up and running soon. The dates are up for the 2009 crop bur registration won't be for a while. Take a look at some of the upcoming SDV's (Scrappers Dream Vacations) to get a rough idea for Disney and the packages. Remember though that Disney is one of their more expensive venues.

If you have any photos please post these as well.
I would be very thankful.

there are pics towards the end of the thread. There were 653 registered scrappers this year. Not sure if all of them showed up though due to the hurricane.

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Yup, in one word - FAB-U-LOUS!!!!! :thumbsup2

Looking forward each and every day till next year!
