I have a conference there at the end of May but have never stayed here before. Can anyone tell me anything about it? I'm familiar with the area just not that particular hotel.

I just booked a one night stay here for April 9th. If no one answers by then I can come back and comment. :goodvibes

I have stayed at the Renaissance SeaWorld twice in the past 3 years and I very much enjoy this hotel. For one thing, you can walk right across the parking lot to SeaWorld's entrance. The rooms are very nice, pretty large. Last time we had a small balcony with a view overlooking SeaWorld. Outside there's a beautiful pool and seating area. A few drawbacks...there's not really an inexpensive food court onsite. There is one nice restaurant there, and a bar wih 99 cent (yes, 99 cents!) homemade French Fries served in a huge cone. Great late-night snack! There's also a Starbucks inside the hotel. They do have a daily parking fee, which I don't like, as that is something I'm not used to at Disney hotels. Overall, a great place to stay.

Recently returned from Renaissance and was very happy with my stay. Employees were friendly and helpful. I agree the restaurant situation could be better but we went to Point Orlando which has many restuarant options and is only a few minutes drive away. I would stay here again without a doubt.
