Can anyone tell me about Jellyrolls and other BW entertainment?

My DH and I are going to spend one night alone on our upcoming Disney trip (thanks Grandma!). We are going to be spending the night at BWI so that we have easy access to Epcot WS and the Boardwalk (and no driving :drinking1 ). What info can you give me on entertainment options on the Boardwalk? We are having dinner in Morocco (don't you just love saying things like that) and then are unsure of what to do. How is Jellyrolls? Do you need reservations or anything like that? Any info would be greatly appreciated. We are so excited to do the "grown-up" things.

P.S. We are celebrating our 10th anniversary, but don't necessarily want to do anything fancy, just have a great time.

Thanks!

What day of the week are you celebrating? I've been to Jellyrolls when it wasn't crowded and it was :rolleyes1 . IMHO, piano bars are only fun if it's packed and people are really into it. I think it's like $5 to get in.

The other options are the ESPNZone which is just a bar with lots of sports on (probably not how YOU want to spend your anniv, but your DH might have other ideas!), Atlantic Dance (I've never been) and the regular happenings of the boardwalk (not much there to keep your attention for more than a few minutes).

The Bell Vue Lounge in BWI is nice and quiet though...you might enjoy that!

We'll be going on a Friday night. Anyone else?

OK, Friday should be a good time to go. If it's dullsville, you can always leave. :) Happy Anniversary!

Friday night should have a good crowd - Tues. is CM night and it gets really crazy then!!!

I've never had a bad time there. There are a total of 4 piano players/night, 2 playing each hour. They are great at getting everyone involved and it's a really fun time!!

I believe the cover charge is now $8 - have a great time!!!! :teeth:

Jellyrolls is great. My wife go several times each visit. The bigger the crowd the better since everyone gets into it. One time on a boring Wednesday night I yelled out between songs that this is a sing-a-long bar and told everyone if they needed proof it was written on the sign on the wall. People laughed and got more involved. The piano players asked my name and welcomed me back every night later that week. :rolleyes1

The Brew Company is nice to have a few drinks and some appetizers and sit out on the boardwalk. If you go at 9:00 you can see the Epcot fireworks too.

The bar at Blue Zoo in Swan or Dolphin has a nice atmosphere and serves a huge martini.

If you are sports fans ESPN is alot of fun but might be difficult to get a good seat on a Friday night.
