Got a phone call yesterday from hospital!!

DS was born with slight malfunction in a sensitive area he saw DR when 3 months old, who said the operation will be done when he's 1. Fast forward he's 22 months old and going into hospital on Saturday

I have the strangest feeling carnt describe. I think it's the feeling he going to sedated and under the knife

Hi update - everything went fine, shaky at first when surgeon thought it may take 2 operations, but in the end it was done in 1.

Hardest thing was holding him when trying to put canilar (sp) in, they gave up in the end but he was screaming so they did the mask which he fought. I was crying *** I was helpless.

He came around in recovery room without me when I taking into him he was screaming I felt so sorry for him.

I think the system could be improved I.e the parents are at bedside when coming around

Anyway he is brave, very bruised
