My In-Laws are going to WDW in May. They are then going to go down with us in August. They are going to book the reservations using the bounceback offer when they are down there.
My confusion is--what will the cost of the trip be? I am terrible at figuring out Disney discounts/packages, etc.
The discount will be 30% off the room. Can any of you figure out the cost for the following?

August 5-14th. Port Orleans Riverside, standard room. Park Hoppers, no water park. No dining. 30% off the room.

Thanks for any help! :goodvibes

I called the Bounceback reservation number. Bouncebacks are pretty much a given any time you go. if you do not see the card in your room, just ask for one.

Not necessarily. We were there in November and there was no bounceback at all.

Usually the bouncebacks change to Free Dining for the following year, then go away after that, nothing in November or December. Because the % off bouncebacks are only for the same calendar year.

I come up with:

Hotel with discount (Standard): (including 12.5% tax) $1,315.13
Hotel with discount (Gardenview): (including 12.5% tax) $1,393.88

10 day Park hopper: (Disney Website) $736.98
10 day Park hopper: (Mousesavers - Undercover Tourist) $705.81

Total Price Standard:
w/Disney Ticket - $2,052.11
w/Undercover Tourist - $2,020.94

To get the Undercover Tourist price you would need to subscribe to Mousesavers.com newsletter on their website.

Hope this helps! :)

Jordancej-- Thank you so much for giving me all those numbers! That was so kind of you. :worship:

That helps a lot.

Remind them not to max out their credit cards shopping at WDW before calling so they have enough $$ to deposit one night's stay on each room (Room Only BB deposit = one night's stay). No wait, that would be my MIL, yours might not shop like mine does

Also warn them they will probably have to use his name on one room res and her name on the other to be able to book two BB rooms.

:thumbsup2
