Can anyone help me? I'm near tears :(

And I still say it's wrong to lump everyone together in the same boat. My vacation is booked, and I'm saving almost $400 off of Disney's rack rate by using my AAA agent, whom I'm very satisfied with. If Disney comes out with a better offer, I can always call and change my package for that promotion instead - no big deal. Either way, I get my AAA membership extras that make mommy, daddy and the kids a little happier at the end of the day. Nothing for me to be bitter about :thumbsup2
That's great AAA worked for you. But, there are PLENTY of Disers who have PLENTY of horror stories about AAA agents and their booking "procedures."

I have AAA and would not even let them book my vacation. Once AAA is on that reservations you will get no guidance or help or any thing from disney, they will refer you back to AAA.

There are exceptions.
I don't know were the OP lives but other countries outside the US can book the AAA discounts themselves. I did this myself and Disney was very helpful.
I could change my reservations whenever I wanted it.
Of course I lost this discount when I booked the 40% room discount so only one discount is possible.

I do know someone who made a AAA package reservation for November and then when free dining came out they also gave that to her on top of the AAA discount. She asked the agent to make sure it wasn't a mistake ( she knew you can't stack discounts) and the agent said that was what Disney was quoting her. It must have been a mistake someone made, but she did get all the discounts. Very rare!

It's always a 'friend' who was able to do this.

AAA travel agents have to call Disney Reservations just like we do. It's a different number, but the result is the same. Only a single 3-letter code can be applied to ANY reservation.

Booking this disney trip has been LESS then pleasant. I am getting so ready just to cancel the whole darn thing.

We are on free dining. (I called in an someone offered it to me, no code, etc)

So now I am reading that people can do free dining and aaa code? (Is this CORRECT???) Because the AAA lady who i briefly spoke to said it is sometimes possible?

Since I already have the free dining code, I am trying to get this to work? Someone told me that I could have the disney reservation transferred to AAA, would this work? Then I could get the AAA discount applied? Will this work? Or any other suggestions?

I don't see what part of your "problem" would make you near tears????? Actually, you should be crying tears of joy because you were offered free dining. Some of us would love to have that offer!!

Don't make yourself crazy trying to get a double discount that you won't be able to get in the end.
