Can anyone give me the "down and dirty" on the Mike Ditka Runaway Resort?

I have found some postings about it, but nothing too detailed. I am considering staying there; alternatively, we will be staying at the Carribean Beach Resort. The Runaway looks like a beautiful, new place, and the price sounds right. Trip is scheduled May 2008. It will just be for two adults, so we are looking at the one-bedroom condos.

Where is Mike Ditka's Runaway Resort? That is a new one that we haven't heard of.

We're staying at Mike Ditka's Lighthouse Key Resort on US192W for our May trip, and we're super excited about it!

The Mike Ditka Runaway Beach Resort is in Kissimmee.

I finally saw where this place is last weekend when I got lost coming out out of the Walmart on 535 - we went out the last exit and it took us under the OScelola Parkway and to get back to 535 we went through Calypso Cay and it was there behind the Calypso Cay hotels. Didn't see the hotel rooms or pool but now at least I know where it is and transportation times to the parks!

I hope it's as nice as the website suggests! I'm sharing a 3-bedroom with my DH, our DS (age 4) and my dad (a.k.a. the Babysitter ).

I googled it because we had not heard of that one. It looks really nice!

We've never stayed that far east on 192. I don't even know if we've ever driven past the Wal-Mart.

Yes, I will let you know how it turns out. In the meantime, I read some reader reviews of it on traveladvisor.com. Sounds like the only problem might be with housekeeping and staff.
