Can anyone give me ideas about the best way to celebrate a birthday for twin boys? Decorations? Cake? Who? Where?

I wanted to buy a cake for the Hoop Dee Doo Review and do something special for them.

How do you decorate the room before they arrive at their resort?

Do you hire a company for decorations and a cake?

I sure would appreciate any suggestions and ideas.

I would like to buy a special birthday cake with their first names on it to take to the 1600 Hoop Dee Doo Review dinner.

I would like to have their resort room decorated with their first names before they arrive.

Call the Disney Florist, but as far as I know, they will not to or place anything in the room until after you have physically arrived. Also see the Cake Chatter thread for information about cakes.

We used Disney Floral and Gifts a couple years ago and were very pleased. We custom made three huge 'baskets' (actually a cooler and two personalized bags) filled with each person's favorite snacks along with a couple toys, keepsakes, and balloons. They would not deliver until after we arrived, but the extra Disney balloons and trinkets really made the room festive throughout our stay. We still have lots of the items, which bring back fond memories. At that time it was the same quality and prices from the Disney stores.

Don't forget to ask the resort concierge for birthday celebration badges to wear! My twins wore these on their birthday and they were invited up to the front car of various roller coasters. They loved it!

Personally I like cupcakes better than cakes. You can get cupcakes in every resort and theme park.

Hi, kaytieeldr. Thank you. I'll check out the Disney Florist the Cake Chatter thread

Hi, DisMommyTX. Thanks, I thought that I might not be able to have everything put in the room before they arrived. I like the idea of the balloons, etc. I guess I will have to be careful about the amount since they are only going to spend one night at the resort before going home. They are coming from the beach.

No comment for room decorations, however, I have a feeling that the Hoop De Doo folks are going to make them feel pretty special once they know they have twins in the house celebrating a b-day.

Hi, Chris. I hope so, too. The twins are already excited when they were told that they might be able to raise their hands if the stage crew asks if it is anyone's birthday that day.

Yes, HDDR is a great place to celebrate a special occasion!

Hi, DisneyWishes14. That is great to hear.

Hi, MomOTwins. Oh, that is a great idea. I need to make sure they do that. "Happy Birthday to Jack and Noah!"

Hi, Best Aunt. That is a great idea, too.

Thank you, everyone, for so many great ideas.

We were there recently during my DH’s birthday. I was surprised but he agreed to wear the pin. We are adults who do a few character breakfasts and started his special day at Cape May. He was brought a donut with a candle in it and everyone sang to him. He even got a card with the signatures of the characters. We had lunch at Tutto Italia. He has a dairy allergy and was brought sorbet with a candle in it and they sang. Dinner was at Le Cellier and he was brought sorbet with a candle. All during the day CMs would wish him a Happy Birthday as did other guests who noticed. We were there Thanksgiving Week and noticed a lot of birthdays. We loved seeing how the different restaurants we had meals in celebrated the kids and adults who were celebrating.
