Can anyone figure out how to change this TP daily Plan?

Being the overachiever I am ( with lots of time on my hands, LOL) decided to make a plan for several days @ DW that includes our FPs, shows and dining reservations.

I can't for the life o' me get TP to include our FP for "Kali River Rapidsl" and it's annoying me mightily.
Here's the screenshot of the plan I told TP's app NOT change...but it did:

Can anyone think of a way to "force" the change besides putting a note in?
TIA!

Sorry, I don't know (haven't used this), but I don't believe the 34-minute wait time they are allocating for FOP...unless you get there waaaaay before rope drop.

Wondered about that too since we plan to arrive somewhere around 7:00 AM but there was no place to enter our arrival time.

Under the fastpass section click on the + by advanced options. Then check the box to force TP to use your fastpasses.

Tried that and after I click the box it just goes round and round in neverending circles:(.
Will try again tomorrow.

Did you ask on the Touring Plan Forum?

Looks to me like it’s not using it because you don’t need to. Try putting a break from 9:20 to 10:20. Then it should use your FastPass. But right now, there’s nothing else in your plan to do for that time so it’s sending you there before your FP.

not sure I understand what you are doing and seeing as a result...if I misunderstood i apologize.....

Are you optimizing or evaluating? If you are telling it to evaluate, you need to manually change the order first. For example, your 11:00 meal is after a 12:30 show. It won't use the FP because you get to the ride too early....add a ride or attraction before hand.

I would add a break after Everest if you want the times to match up. I would move lunch before flights of wonder. Then hit evaluate (not optimize)

Are you getting any notes when you optimize? It’ll usually tell you if there’s an issue or if it’s not using it because you don’t need it.

I did the plan 2 ways. Once using TP's algorithm and once without using only my reservations. The screenshot should have been only my data. And I noted the difference of the lunch time as well but just decided the system was wonky and our tummys would tell us when we wanted to eat;).

@lentesta : Err....do you want the general link to TP or the personalized link?

Here is the general link:

and here is the personalised one:

My manually added notes are on the schedule which is helping me to correct what I perceive as errors. This is the only timetable out of 6 days that has scheduling problems so at this point I'm thinking this day has coding problems on TP's end.

I haven't asked this question at TP's forum because well because I'm shy, LOL.

If you optimize (as opposed to evaluate) this plan it should move your lunch into place before the show but even if you click on the force all FPs option (which it sounds like you should) it's not going to use the FP for Kali until there's more in the plan. I'm also fairly sure if you optimize this plan as it stands it will no longer use the Primeval either. If you click force all FPs it will juggle to try to do so but it will only leave weirdly large chunks of free time if the timing of events necessitates it. It's not using Kali because it's assuming that if it does you will sit around twiddling your thumbs for 70 minutes and that the net gain will either be nothing or a minute or two of wait time. The force option will override the system's urge to move your FP ride to another part of the day because it saves you two minutes overall wait time; it won't override it's urge to have you do something. On the other hand it will leave the two and half hour gap between Kali and FoW because, well, you can't go to FoW before 12:30. If there is something else you are going to be doing for that 70 minutes and it isn't something with a TP entry you could schedule a break, but what the TP algorithm seems to really want you to do is schedule four other attractions in that gap.

The purpose of the software is to minimize wait and walking time but a side function of that is that it will make every attempt to minimize and consolidate free time. It's trying to get you to as much as possible. If you want to stop and smell the roses crank down your walking speed. If you really do want to not do anything for an hour of prime park time you're going to have to tell it (schedule a break). There's just no way around it.

Closing now that the plan has been sent to Touring Plans.

Please remember that the Touring Plans site can be directly accessed for assistance with park plans.
