Can anyone confirm date for 50th announcement?

We are planning a trip this spring to DL but want the trip to coincide with the opening of TOT and the announcement for the 50th. I have heard rumors that it will be on May 5, but can't find anything to substantiate that rumor. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

The offical announcement has landed back on the May 5th (after being scheduled for Mar and July) If I find specifics Ill post them -em

last I saw it reported was on miceage.com ... they are reporting the May 5th date

Thanks! I got my info from miceage.com. I can't convince DH to let me book the trip until he sees something more official, but I'm ready to go now!
