It is the "Shop Disney Parks" app. Disney put it out about 6 months or so ago. I'm not sure if you can get it in Canada though. It has more merchandise on it than the
Disney Store website. Some of the merchandise you can buy online from home, but some it tells you that you have to be in park/store to purchase. At least for WDW, it can show you what stores on property carry the item (it has DL merchandise on the app, but I haven't seen a DL locator map on it yet). Even if you can't buy the item from home on the app, it is useful because it gives you the SKU if you are calling Disney merchandising to try to get something picked up and shipped to you. When you are in the store that has the product at WDW, it opens up to let you buy the item through the app and instead of going to the register, you can buy it from the app and have it shipped to your home. On our October trip I did that several times for items I did not want to have to pack, or when the store lines were really long. The only thing I found irritating on our WDW trip was that I was in the store and almost bought something, but decided not to, but later at the resort room I decided I should have bought it and tried to buy it then and it told me I had to be in store to purchase it. So, when we were in a different park the next day, I had to find a store that carried it and pull out the app and buy it while I was standing in the store. I think as long as you are somewhere on Disney property, that should be good enough! All in all, I really like the app though.
