Dd would really like to spend her money on new suitcases, she has coveted Mickey luggage for a long time, but we are not sure what is currently available in the park and for how much. I know the gift shop at the Disneyland hotel carried them in the past and likely World of Disney.
So if you are there or wil be in the next few days could you snap a pic and post a price? Any help would be sincerely appreciated.
Thanks

I just checked the shop Disney parks app and saw the same luggage that I looked at during our stay at the Disneyland Hotel last summer. The parks app items are almost always at the same price you will find at the resort/parks/DTD. The current prices are $149 for a 20 inch rolling/spinner suitcase both for the soft and hard types and $179 for a 28 inch rolling suitcase soft sided, but $199 for a 28 inch hard sided spinner suitcase. There are 5 different patterns on the app, it looks like 1 soft sided and the rest are hard sided. When we were at the Disneyland Hotel last summer, I can only recall them having 2 different ones-both hard sided. One of them was definitely the "comic strip" one that you can find on the Disney store website. The other might have been the pop art one from the Disney store website, but I am not positive on that. They might have different ones now. They also had a 60th anniversary rolling duffle that was on the small side. I don't know if they still are selling that one as it showed up in our outlet store (halfway across the country from DLR) in November (and I promptly bought one at 50% off for DD). The other ones showing up on the parks app are the icon/polka dot one you see on the store website; the soft sided mickey one from the store website (but it says wdw on the website) and there is also a "debossed" one that looks to be entirely silver with the word Mickey all over it and a big Mickey in one corner that I don't see on the Disney Store Website. They could have other ones at DLR not showing up on the app, but I don't remember a huge variety.

Thank you! !! That is a big help....what is the Ap you used I might have to download that...

I was interested in one of the hard-sided bags a couple of years ago so I gave them a 'going over' at the DLH. TBH, they didn't look all that well made to me. I'd suggest you take a very good look at it before you buy. I'd say they're OK for car travel but no so sure about them holding up to the rough and tumble of baggage handlers and airports if you fly frequently, plus they looked as if they'd be easy to get into.

D Street in DTD has a few American Tourister carry ons. But several stores like Wal Mart and Target carry them too. It might be worth checking online to see if they're available in store and going to one if it saves enough. They will also price match, so if Amazon has it cheaper you could get it at either of those stores for even less.

It is the "Shop Disney Parks" app. Disney put it out about 6 months or so ago. I'm not sure if you can get it in Canada though. It has more merchandise on it than the Disney Store website. Some of the merchandise you can buy online from home, but some it tells you that you have to be in park/store to purchase. At least for WDW, it can show you what stores on property carry the item (it has DL merchandise on the app, but I haven't seen a DL locator map on it yet). Even if you can't buy the item from home on the app, it is useful because it gives you the SKU if you are calling Disney merchandising to try to get something picked up and shipped to you. When you are in the store that has the product at WDW, it opens up to let you buy the item through the app and instead of going to the register, you can buy it from the app and have it shipped to your home. On our October trip I did that several times for items I did not want to have to pack, or when the store lines were really long. The only thing I found irritating on our WDW trip was that I was in the store and almost bought something, but decided not to, but later at the resort room I decided I should have bought it and tried to buy it then and it told me I had to be in store to purchase it. So, when we were in a different park the next day, I had to find a store that carried it and pull out the app and buy it while I was standing in the store. I think as long as you are somewhere on Disney property, that should be good enough! All in all, I really like the app though.

Sadly the App is NOT available in Canada.
