Can anybody who has been to TDR's hotels recently confirm whether they do luggage forwarding?

I'm having trouble finding this answer. I have read from some bloggers that Tokyo Disney's hotels don't have luggage forwarding folks onsite. I find that so strange, how could they not in Japan?! But then the second answer on this tripadvisor thread from last year says they do. So I'm confused, can anyone who's been there recently confirm?

We're staying at MiraCosta and would like to forward to Kyoto (Park Hyatt, specifically)

The Tripadvisor thread is correct. Pretty much every hotel in Japan offers this.

I have heard that there is no longer free luggage delivery between Disney owned hotels and Official hotels (like Hilton or Sheraton Tokyo Bay).

So just to clarify....I can have my lugage transferred from the DLH to the Sheraton on the monorail loop for a fee? How is this arranged? Thank you.

The service didn't go from free to paid, they just don't do it anymore. I think this service was run by Disney.

There is also general delivery services (takuhaibin) that you might use if switching hotels that are further away, but it probably doesn't make sense to use it for hotels this close. If you really wanted to, it costs about $15-20 for one big luggage. You'd have to send it early enough to be same day.

I had meant to come back here and update this. Hotel MiraCosta indeed provides luggage forwarding. We had our stuff sent to Park Hyatt Kyoto and it arrived next day in the afternoon.
