Can any of you fabulous DISigners help me please?

I'm trying to make a t-shirt transfer design for our family trip in September this year. I freely admit that I'm craft-challenged and am not ashamed to admit that I need some help! What I've come up with is a baseball-based design, with a baseball diamond shape in the background and a picture of Mickey at bat inside the baseball diamond shape.

I thought adding the words "Hittin' a home run with Mickey" at the top and "September 2009" at the bottom might be fun. I downloaded the Disney font, thanks to a friend, so I can add the words (can't design my way out of a paper bag, but I can add wording LOL!).

This will be printed in black & white, so the design should take that into account. I will be transferring the design onto bright yellow t-shirts (my youngest son's favourite colour!) for all four of us.

Your thoughts/ideas/help/suggestions would be most appreciated!

Don't go too bright of a yellow. The florida sun will reflect it back into your eyes and not to mention a great big glare for any one else around you. And "bright neon" colors look awful in sunny pictures... sorry I just though I'd add my two sense. I did photopass for two years and the brighter the shirts, the darker the faces came out, didn't make for great photos.

Wow! Thank you so much for taking the time to do this for us! I wonder if I could ask for a modification though, if it's not too much trouble?

The pictures themselves are wonderful, but I wonder if the wording could be in Disney font and if the year could be 2009? I love the Mickey ears on the 0 - maybe that could be on the second 0? Or the 2009 could be like it is in some of your fabulous designs (I peeked at your photobucket link - so awesome!) with the two ears lined up as zeroes between 2 and 9 and the main part of the Mickey head underneath the year numbers?
