I have been on the Weight Watchers program for about a year now and have lost a bit of weight. When dining out locally, there are many times when I get a kids meal. Will Sea World let me get one in their sit down dining? I can understand at a take out type place, I'm not sure they care, but wondered if in their sit down dining, whether I'd be allowed to get a kids meal.

I don't really know if they allow it or not. Don't think there would be a problem though. But.... as a fellow dieter I would think the regular meals served at Sharks( only real sit down there) would fit the diet better. Most of the kids meals are fried stuff like chicken fingers, fries, etc that I don't generally eat anyway. Seems like a side salad and a plate of grilled or baked fish for example would be a better choice than a hot dog, macaroni and cheese, or chicken strips. And it will taste so much better. <VBG>

Yep... they allow it.

Kari will only eat items off the kids menu, so we only patronize places that allow her to eat off the kids menu (Friendly's is not on the list).

Now if you do a buffet dinner like the Luau or Shamu dining, then yes you have to pay the adult price. But you can get whatever you want at the buffet. That's the only down side to eating at buffets with Kari, I spend 40$ or more for her to eat mac and cheese and pizza.

Yes you can. The only reason they call it a kids meal is because its smaller portions and smaller sizes. It doesnt mean its for kids only. :rotfl:
