Can an AAA rate be applied by WDW CRO to an existing room only reservation?? Or would I need to contact AAA ? TIA !

Yes, you can get the AAA rate directly through CRO if they have discounted rooms available. I always book mine that way.

I actually prefer to do it that way....i alwasy find that at least here, the AAA employess are not as helpful unless your doing a package throug them

I booked my May room with WDW directly and got a AAA discount by providing my membership number. My October trip (booked before May trip) I reserved a room through AAA. I now regret it because I relaized all the AAA agent is doing is calling WDW while I'm on hold. And you have to go through AAA with any requests and changes. I am not getting a package, just a room only reservation.

Yup. I booked a RO ressie for the end of our trip through CRO with a AAA discount and they just needed my membership #.

Thank you all !! I called the Grand Gathering CM today. I was able to get one out of our three rooms at an AAA rate. Yay ! Unfortunately the other two rooms couldn't be AAA rate because they are Club Level and there are no more AAA discounts available . Is this something that I should keep calling back about ?? Might an AAA Club room open up or is it hopeless?
