Can an AAA 10 day ticket be upgraded to DVC Annual pass?

I realize I would need to use it as admission once, then upgrade it within 14 days (to maintain value). But can an AAA 10 day park hopper be upgraded to an DVC annual pass, with discount?

I just upgraded 5 day MYW tix, purchased at AAA, to Premium APs with no problem. We used them to get into a park, and the upgraded at Guest Services shortly after. I don't see why 10 day MYW PH tix from AAA would be any different.

Hmmm, I have never noticed that on their website. I have looked at prices online, but always buy at the branch near my house, so maybe that notice was there and I did not see it. We have upgraded AAA passes to APs twice now. Seeing that on the AAA website would make me nervous, too. I don't recall ever hearing about anyone having a problem upgrading MYW tickets from AAA, though.

My membership is through AAA South, btw. Not sure if that matters, but assuming you are in RI, just wanted to let you know that.

The dvc annual pass is $425 and the 10 day hopper is $378.00. Hence why we are thinking about the upgrade if we go again in December.
