Can all Canon 40D owners show me what you have taken?

I am curious to see what kind of quality you have been able to achieve with the 40D so could you post 4 or 5 of your favs? also, some of your flubs???

I don't recall what you are currently shooting with.

I upgraded my Rebel XT after almost 2 years for the 40D. I admit I have a little bit of buyer's remorse. When I went from my 3.1mp P&S to the XT, the WOW! factor was quite obvious! The picture improvements from the XT to the 40D obviously aren't going to be as drastic.

Some reasons I upgraded were more frames per second for action sequences (my main subject is sports), larger sensor, more pixels (for poster size printing).

It's a lot of camera, a lot more than I know how to use. Hopefully I will fall in love with it eventually, but frankly, I bet for my needs the XT was good enough! -btw, I think the MAIN reason I bought it was to jump start our baseball season out of a cold, rainy spring. Didn't work - I wasn't able to use the camera for the first 6-8 weeks I owned it!

so...I'm not seeing alot of improvement in my pictures, but here are two I just posted on the Baseball thread. These were taken at quite a distance, with my Sigma 75-300 fully zoomed:
