Can Ada for rent/transfer be used at any resort or just home resort ?

Hi everyone

new to this whole world of renting/transferrin points so I apologize in advance for any questions that have been asked before

just wanted to know if all the ads that members post to rent or transfer can be used at any resort or when it says for instance rent POL can it only be used at that resort or home resort?

It depends. If you're seeking a reservation between 7 and 11 months out, they can only be used at the home resort. Once 7 months hits, they can be used at any DVC Resort...unless they are resale points, resale points for Riviera can ONLY be used at Riviera, and resale points from other resorts can not be used at Riviera...and this only applies to resale pints purchased after a specific date. Points from older Resale contracts can be used at any DVC Resort at 7 months, including Riviera. So far, Riviera is the only DVC Resort with resale restrictions.
