can AAA discount do anything for AoA?

Going to disney with my DD and father on 5/28-6/4. Originally booked AoA LM room but switched over to POP preferred pool room to save almost $200 for the same dates since AoA LM rooms are not included in discount. Now I'm second guessing myself. I really hate not going to POP for discount since one is available but I know my DD would really love those LM rooms... I have a AAA card but have never considered using it on Disney. I read somewhere that AAA has discounted rooms? are the LM rooms included in this? Do you contace AAA or disney to inquire? anyone have any advice?

AAA does have a discount for AoA (we used it for our Nemo suite) but it was only like 10 or 15%, and I can't remember if it was for all sections. I know when I changed to the new Visa promo, my package ended up being 35% off (room AND tickets). It certainly doesn't hurt to ask; I go through my AAA agent because she is awesome and efficient and has a direct line to Disney. While some people had to wait on the phone upwards of 2 hours last week for the Visa promo, I emailed her and had a response within 10 minutes.

I do think however, that you can call Disney directly and ask for the AAA discount... I think someone said you just have to be prepared with proof at check-in. ???

I've been wondering about this as well. The LM rooms typically have not been part of any discount. I doesn't look like the LM rooms will be discounted in the upcoming spring discount, though the suites at AOA are. If the LM rooms are not eligible for the normal discount are they going to be available for the AAA discount?

Now that my daughter has seen pictures of the AOA resort, she wants to stay there and no where else. So I have a feeling we will be staying there discount or not, but it sure would be nice to get some kind of break.

I always use my AAA travel agent for the discount. No matter where we stay we always get a discount. I believe the more expensive the resort the bigger the savings. We are staying at AoA this May and it still saved us like 200-300 dollars which is fine with me! Plus they will add any discounts that come up. For example when I get the PIN number from the Disney Dedtinations mailer she adds it on. And if we ever went in September we would still get the free dining. Plus I just learned we get done type of special seating for the fireworks thru AAA. Hope this helps!

Last I had seen on AAA discounts, LM rooms were not included.

My current res, booked back in August, AoA LM room 10% AAA discount. It saved me about $180.

We are a family of 5 - booking two connecting LM rooms is cheaper than the family suite.

Try calling, they applied the discount for me!
