I do have a life

Just so you know that I do have a life outside of planning for WDW:

Wendy, Derek, Erin and I went to a hockey game last night. Wendy's company has great season seats. 5 rows from the ice. I had a mini-pack last year, but waited too long to order and they sold out...so now it's hit and miss for me as far as going to games.

Here's a shot to show you how close we were. I do think I used the zoom:

More trip stuff

I will probably have pictures up sometime over the next few days of my suitcase...:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 I will start prepacking today. Pre-packing is packing things that you will not use between now and the time you leave.

I do have to finalize itineraries and ADRs which I've been avoiding for awhile for obvious reasons...

I still have stuff to buy:

  1. Flip flops
  2. board shorts
  3. socks

I have started drinking a bit. I tend to drink more on vacation and need to build up a tolerance or it will be one drink and I'm ready for bed.:sad2:

I've enjoyed seeing all the people going in Feb starting to do PTRs....I guess I started mine a bit too early....:confused3

You aren't wearing those socks with the flip flops are you?:scared:

Only my dh and kids know my full adiction to the dis and disney. My close friends and family know I'm writing a trip report, but they have no idea that I will go through withdrawls if I don't dis several times a day!:lmao:

I get the shakes if I don't DIS and if you've forgotten the great Internet Disaster of 07, I can get like this w/o the computer:

Hey There! Under a month and almost up to 100 pages :thumbsup2 :cool1: :thumbsup2 :cool1: :thumbsup2 :cool1: :thumbsup2

It won't be long now bud ...trust me, the last 30 days went like wildfire for us! Just wanted to stop by before we head out of here. And I'll make sure and send some of that sunny weather your way!

Happy DISing! :wizard:

Shouldn't you be packing?

Or at the very least, dancing around your living room?;)

Nice seats! :thumbsup2

I'm glad that, in addition to building up your alcohol tolerance, you're building up your tolerance for non-trip-planning activities. (!) It will help for the post-trip-what-am-I-gonna-do-with-all-my-extra-time-now phenomenon!

I'm guessing you won't have a hard time finding flip-flops in January out there in California.... I don't think I'd be able to do that here in Jersey.

Jordan - if you had waited longer think of all the hours of entertainment we all would have missed!! I hope your TR lasts for months and months - don't forget to get some socks for Binder or maybe a cute sun visor!!

I know PDD (Post Disney Depression) is tough.....I know I'm going sometime in 2009 so I can just start pre-planning as I am doing my TR.......:thumbsup2

It rained all night....:thumbsup2 We need the rain.

If I take as many pictures as I think I'm going to take, it will take months. Hopefully, I will try and keep it under a year...;)

A year would just about perfect!! In less than a year you could start your next pre-trip report and we could then just continue to spend night after night with everyone!!

Looking forward to it - - remember lots of Loo shots!!

Hey 100 pages...WOOT!! :cool1: I miss being able to watch hockey games. We had a team here a long time ago (semi-pro) but not anymore:confused3 . We really enjoyed it when it was here. Now they have melted the ice and replaced it with fake grass and we have an NIFL team. (National INDOOR Football League) That's fun to watch too but not nearly as much as "normal" football without the arena.

Anyway, enough rambling! Down to business.....come see my PTR in a few minutes to see what I got today.:yay:

DH and I LOVE Hockey. We are excited this year because we get to watch games on tv. We actually went without tv and just did DVD's for 6 years. It gave us better control of what went into the minds of our little ones. Now they are older so we have the family package so we get to watch sports again. We missed the sports. Didn't miss anything else.

We try to go to live games any time we get a chance. Nothing like a "good Christian" yelling "Fight, Fight, Fight":lmao:

Haven't shopped for my Rainbows yet but I did find some flip flops for P.P. Pirate. You'll just have to wait and see.:rolleyes1

I guess I started mine a bit too early....:confused3
I'm glad you started early. It's given us all a chance to get to know you. You have brightened up all of our lives.
Guess I'm really early seeing how I don't go until Sept. 2008.:dance3:

I consider myself lucky to live in a place where we can see pro sports live. Ducks, Angels, Dodgers, Lakers, Clippers, Kings, Galaxy, Chargers.....Then there's USC or UCLA....

I wonder what you got today...

Jordan - - give me some advice - - - we are going to OKW in March until the end of April. I am thinking of surprising my husband with a short three day cruise on the Magic or Wonder at the end of our time at OKW.

Here are my dumb questions - - do we need formal dinner clothes, i.e. tux

Are three days worth it?

Porthole or Balcony - - -

Your opinion please!!

First, you must have a lot of points.....

A 3 day is nice, but 4 day is better....I wouldn't turn down any DCL.

You don't need a tux for formal night. Just nice clothes. A coat and tie will do. I can't even remember if the 3 day has a formal night. If they don't, then a nice dress shirt or polo will do for dinners. Disney is pretty informal which I actually like.

On a 3 day I don't know how much time you'd be spending on the balcony especially since if you've never been. It's nice though to start and end your day on the balcony.

Look what happened today

So my mailing address is my parents' home. Long story short, I used to move alot for work. Sometimes only in one place for a few months, so I just started using my 'rents address for important stuff......

My dad calls this morning saying something came from Disney.

I dropped what I was doing and hightailed it over to their house.

When I got back to our place I opened the package and then went into a range of late 80s dances:

because...that's right...my documents came in

  :woohoo: :woohoo: :dance3: :dance3:

However

They're are a few minor problems and let's face it, it's me; so there's bound to be some problem that needs to be solved.

  1. Kim's ME tickets have her coming in the same day as me. She is not coming in until 2/2. Does anyone know what I need to do?
  2. My outgoing ME flight is not listed on my documents.
  3. Our TA was supposed to separate Kim's info out and send it directly to her. That didn't happen.

I'll call my TA on Monday to get it all straightened out. I'm hoping it won't be too complicated.....:confused3

End of the day, I'm going on vacation in 3 and 1/2 weeks.
