Just checking in. I'm a bit behind in my reading and don't know that I'll ever really catch up seeing as I need to get writing my TR!

I'm looking forward to the mullet picture. Unfortunately, I had one myself. So very sad, but true.

I have a little story to add about Members Only Jackets. The other day my dad showed up to visit and he was wearing a Members Only jacket. I said, "Daddy, did you get a new jacket?" he said "Yea I got this at a garage sale. Its a Members Only. Thats a name brand. Thats a nice jacket. I got a good deal on it." When my dh walked in the room the jacket was the first thing he noticed too. He said, "Hey Pop you got a nice jacket." My dad said , "Yea, its a Members Only." He was so proud. DH and I just looked at each other and did our best not to laugh. The kids didn't have a clue why we were smirking.

Mine too. We only had them because the friends in the group pic brought them all to us after a trip to Japan (I think that was it). They were a thank you for keeping their son during the trip. It's funny to think what a big deal it was to have them.

One of my clients wears a Members Only jacket every time I see him Did I mention I don't "do" mullets? Another I definetly went through some serious cans of Aqua Net (white can, pink writing, you girls know what I'm talkin' bout!)

I use travelers checks too!! Got 'em all last week and seperated them into days-but we always have extra in the form of cash or CC that we pay back with a cushion of saved vacation $$ we leave in the bank.. We did a vacation a couple years back with the debit and no TC's-and OMG-my house money was mixed into the vacation savings and it just messed us up when we got home!! Maybe we are bad jugglers of money , don't know-but I like my house/living $$ seperate from our 'saved for 3 years' vacation $$!

Itchin' to get in the car and GO!!

Hatin' this cold weather-38 and ice everywhere this morning!!Cold for us southerners! I am having a hard time picturing Disney sooo much warmer and probably packing too much!

I'll actually be gone longer because immediately after i get back, I'm going to San Jose, CA to visit family and friends. I won't actually be back home until Feb 18th.

Poor pop. At least he knew it was a name brand..........just 20+ years too late. Although they could always come back in fashion.

I was pretty spoiled as a kid being the youngest, but for some reason my parents drew the line at these jackets. I think my folks may have thought the congregation at the church would've thought that it was a waste of their offering money.
