Can a place holder be used on an IGT room

We are not going to be sailing full fare on DCL in 2017, unsure about beyond that. The question I have is that since we were going to book a placeholder to see what happens in 2018. If we go the IGT route and book last minute like we did with the Magic post dry dock, can we use the placeholder to get an even better deal?

As noted, no. The actual wording is:
Offer valid for categories 4-11 only. Offer not valid for Concierge categories, IGT, OGT, and VGT categories with restrictions and 2 night cruises.

The *GT rates are for new bookings only, to be paid in full at time of booking.
