Can a member purchase park tickets for non-member?

We are non-members interested in renting some points for an upcoming vacation during the "Free Dining Plan" promotion in September. Does anyone know if a member could purchase the park tickets and add the dining plan to the reservation to qualify us for the free dining promotion? Thanks!

If you are renting DVC points the free dining is not offered, cash ressie only.

Free Dining is only offered with a MYW package. Those are rooms booked through Disney that includes tickets.

Someone staying at a dvc resort on their own points or rented points are not able to purchase a MYW package, thus no free dining.

If you would like to book a Villa through disney, they may have rooms that qualify for the free dining promotion.

Free dining is a promotion that Disney uses to get people to book resort rooms at the highest possible price (rack rate). DVC members have pre-paid for their lodging for the next several decades; there's no reason for them to try to lure us into staying on property. So, no free dining.

You may have misunderstood the requirements for the free dining promotion - it is offered with a full price room/tickets package booked through WDW only. DVC reservations do not qualify with or without a ticket purchase, because DVC bookings are not packages, and the booking system is completely separate.

The only thing the member could do for you to get you the dining plan is to add the dining plan to your points reservation. You would pay for the dining plan when you check in. But if you've booked through DVC, you won't be able to get it free.

On the other hand, by renting points you would be paying a good bit less than full price for your room.
