My Mom has two unused plus options on her hopper. She doesn't want to go to the water parks.
I'm wondering if a child can use the unused adult plus options?
My hubby and I both already have a couple options leftover and I wondered if one of my kids could use my Mom's? We'll probably go to the water parks next spring break and we all have APs so we'll have to pay for the water parks out of pocket for both of them otherwise.

Opinions?
Thanks!

can an adult use unused Child plus options? They are always saying that they never expire and if you have unused days/plusses and the child changes ages you can still use them. Is this true with plusses as well?

The price of the water park for a child, though is less than for an adult. I don't know if that makes a difference Disney_1derland?

When your child changes from a child to an adult (at least in Disney terms), you can go and have the ticket exchanged to an adult one at no charge. So your child will still be able to use his ticket with the plusses.

lenshanem, I'm not saying what you should or shouldn't do...but as for using someone else's plusses, the tickets say nontransferable, but as we all know, Disney has no way of knowing whose ticket you're using.

Disney will not have a problem with a child using an adult plus option. But you could run into a problem if it's the other way around.

Plus options on a child's ticket never expire just as park admissions don't. But there is a Disney policy in place that allows for you to exchange the left over admissions on a child's ticket for the identical admissions on an adult ticket.

See the section called Exchanging Old Children's Tickets here on Deb's web site for an explanation of the process involved.

Last summer my DD ( 6 at the time) used one of the plus options from my DH ticket. He was not with us on that trip (he would not go to a water park anyway so they would go to waste). We had APs and used the plus options from previous tickets we had bought - both were adult tickets. She had no problems at the gate. There is one plus left on that same ticket and I plan on her using it again this summer for Typhoon Lagoon.
