Can a child get into the park using an adult pass?

My sister-in-law was able to get a discount for our 5-day hoppers through her alumni association. I told her to go ahead and order 4 adult passes for my husband, two children, and I because they were all the same price (adults play for kid's prices). I assumed it wouldn't matter if they weren't adults, but I just read on Disney's web site that the adult tickets are for 10+. Now I'm worried. Does it matter what type of ticket it is, or can anyone get in on an adult pass? Thanks!!

We have done it twice. Once we just used it and no one said a word and once they sent us to the ticket booth to trade it for a childs hopper!

Welcome to the DL boards!!

Yes, especially now when the price of the adults ticket is the same as the price of the kids ticket.

Thanks for the replies. I was getting a little nervous, but it looks like we won't have any problems. :thumbsup2
