Can 2018 park tickets be first used in 2019?

Looking forward to our first trip in 9 years. A bit shocked at the price increases for flights, car hire and tickets.

Can I beat the forthcoming price increases by buying WDW park tickets at 2018 prices for use in March/April 2019 or are there restrictions I need to be aware of?

The order confirmation for my 2019 tickets says "Please note the first day of use must be on or before 31st December 2019." So unfortunately I suspect not.

No you aren't able to with Disney. Attraction Tickets Direct explained similar to me when I was wanting to move my holiday. We had originally been booked for Summer 2018 but had to change.
