Camping, the meal plan and 'room keys'

My DH and the boys want to do a few days of camping during our trip. They plan on tent camping (The girls and I are not interested! LOL). I was wondering can they get the meal plan there and if so, do they get a 'room key' even though there isn't a room for it to go to?

Sorry if these are totally stupid question but I didn't see them addressed in the FAQ.

Yes, you can get the meal plan if you buy a package...works the same as all resorts, everyone has to be on the same plan.
Yes, you get a room key, same as all the rest of the resorts...you can charge, have your meals and tickets all on the key. You will also need the key to enter the comfort stations at night.

Yes you can get the meal plan at the Fort. You do get a key at the fort. It is used to access the comfort stations during the late night hours and to show you are a WDW guest.

The boys will love the fort....so much to do! The girls should give it a try too...at least visit the boys for the campfire sing along and the fireworks on the beach.

as said earlier, card is what gets you into comfort stations late night. can get the dining plan as we did. you may find girls enjoy the Fort as well, esp if golf cart is in the deal. as it takes 2 buses or a ferry and a bus without golf cart. no car parking for buses or ferry to parks or pool. for whole family check out campfire and movie a the Fort, do not have to be staying at Fort to go to. the guys will get a listing of times and movies showing.
