CAmping of of I-75?

We are heading to the fort on the 19th, and figured we would leave earlier that we expected. Fort is booked so we cannot add a day, we would like to stay at a campground that is dog friendly, and not to far off of I-75. We are coming from ohio and would like to be somewhat close to our destination! let me hear some suggestions! We are traveling with 2 large fifth wheels.

Does anyone know a good place to camp on 75 around Ocala or closer to Disney. Were considering leaving a day earlier and sleep on the road then arrive at the Fort early. Does Walmart allow overnight sleeping down there ???

We usually stay at Ocala Rv camp resort, its right on 75 by Cracker Barrel. I have read on this board that most counties in florida do not allow overnight stays at Walmart..

We are currently camping at Lake Louisa state park just south of Clermont on Hwy 27. It's a newish state park, really nice bathhouses, and in the past we have used it as an overnight on our way to the Fort when we were driving down via I75. You just take the Florida Turnpike off of 75, then go south on 27. Lake Louisa is about 30 minutes from WDW.

Great thanks everyone. Were only 7 hours away from the Fort but I wanna get an early start. Last time we drove over night and had vehicle problems. Everything was closed and it really depressed the start of our vacation.

williston rv park is off I-75 about 20 minutes it's about 2.5 hours from the fort. Very nice campground the longest pull thru's I have ever seen. They do have restrictions on what they allow in.. Check out the web page http://willistoncrossingrv.com/

Come on over to Elite Resorts Citrus Valley off 27 only 8 miles to Disney. There are pull thru sites open so you wouldn't even need to unhook
