Camping Movie ?????????????

Hi!

Just wondering if you guys can answer some questions. Can anyone attend the campsite movie and make s'mores? Do they ask for proof that your staying on property and how do you get there? Oh, and what time does the movie start?

We were just at FW this past Feb and caught many of the movies. The sing-a-long started at 7pm (times may vary, check for when you are going to be there) and the movie started after. Chip and Dale make the rounds for photos and autographs too. You can buy smores kits and marshmellows and sticks (sorry can't elaborate more, we brought our own). Depending on the time of year and day of the week, there may be 2 movies shown. If you watch on this board you will see someone post a thread about the schedule at the beginning of each month.

While I have been told that this is intended for onsite guests only, there is no one at the campfire who checks this that I saw when we were there. I'm not sure about gaining entry into FW through the main gates if you are not a Disney resort guest...maybe someone else can help on that one.

I think non FW guests can gain access to FW by visiting Trails End resturant, the petting zoo, horse back riding, and maybe even the movie. Tell the guard what you are there for and they will direct you to parking. You then take a bus from the Outpost to the campfire area.

Having stayed at Fort Wilderness 4 times for about 38 days total, we have never been asked where we were from. There is always plenty of room at the shows we have been to even during busy times like July 4th and around Christmas. People come and go often. Usually by the time the movie starts most folks with younger kids leave so it gets darker, quieter and kind of romantic...sort of like the old drive in movies.
