camping, how far do you pull?

 I would pull a pop-up 82.5 miles with my teeth to camp at FW!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl:
We pull our 22' travel trailer with our 7MPG SUV (had to shovel 8" of global warming yesterday:laughing: )all over the country. Live in Phila. suburbs, 1100+ miles to the Fort. Family of 4 plus two friends for the teenage sons. Usually leave on a Friday night after school let's out. Travel to Lumberton ,NC or Florence,SC. Check into Holiday Inn Express by 11:30. Check into the Fort by 5:00pm Saturday.
Return trip: Leave WDW after dinner on Saturday night. Lodge in Savannah,GA for the night(Comfort Inn) and make the long dive home on Sunday (12-13 hours).Wife doesn't tow, but teenage son helped out on last trip to FW in Dec/06. Drove from lower SC into Jacksonville,FLA.
We've trailered to Nova Scotia, Montana,Tennesse,New York, and heading out to Chicagoland this summer, destination unknown.

AKAMOM - we leave for the Fort the day before you (Apr 21)! Can't wait!!!

We drive down from SW Michigan towing a pop-up just about every year. I think it is about 1250 miles each way. We average 19-20 hrs drive time.

Anyway, we get on the road at 3:30 am and drive to Tifton, GA and spend the night in a hotel (about 15-16 hrs). The next day we are on the road about 7:30 ... just over 4 hrs into the Fort.

----
On the way home, we are on the road by 6:00 am and then spend the night in Elizabethtown, KY ... that leaves a 6 hr drive the second day.
