Hi all!
we went to DLP for New Year, and had a FAB time! We were staying in Marriott villige-d'ille-de-france, which was fab, but a pricey option. We bought Dream AP's so decided to go back, and are trying to save some pennies!

we're going this time with my sister in law, her husband and their 3 children, so there will be 8 of us all together.

We're going the week of 25th June, and debating about staying in a campsite further away from DLP. Bit of a chore with the drive, but with 2 AP's it's free parking, so that's not the end of the world....

Any experience? adivce? etc....!!

many thanks

Kirsty

You could consider staying at Davy Crocket Ranch which is disney owned. Theres more info about this on the Hotel Sticky.

Or Ive stayed several times at a campsite at Berny Riviere - Its about an hours drive from DLP but a lovely site with lots to do

Other people have stayed at sites closer to DLP but I think they are more basic.

I think there is info in the Useful info sticky about Camping near DLP

Hi

We have some experience of staying on a camping and caravanning site. We used to stay at the Village Parisian campsite on the far side of Meaux, http://www.campsite-village-paris.c...es/campsite-disneyland-paris-france/index.php which used to take us about 35 minutes to drive to and from Disneyland. The caravans were always clean, the staff friendly and the site is nicely landscaped. The caravans themselves are well equipped with bedrooms, kitchen, decking area and mostly placed in small gardens, all with parking space. The campsite is situated outside a village where you can buy basic provisions and there is a small store on site where you can order bread, croissants etc for the next day from the local boulangerie. There is a pool onsite and various activities available.

We enjoyed this when the children were small but the caravan space seemed cramped as the children grew older and we got fed up with the driving so we have stayed on-site for several years now. The other disadvantage is that you have to supply your own bedding and towels but the cost is not bad. Pricing up a four night stay at the beginning of June for 8 people in a 7/8 person caravan with three bedrooms gave a cost of €864.

Hope this helps. :goodvibes

Another option may be for you to stay at a partner hotel. There are 8 of us and we have booked 2 rooms at the kyriad for 3n/4days for less that £700 in July :cool1:

Have a look at the Key Camp and Euro Camp websites. I'm fairly sure some of the campsites mentioned above are theirs (it might be just one operator but I can't remember which as it was a while ago I looked for something else, sorry!). They give you a good idea of accommodation and services on site at these places.

Have to say, I do fancy a longer stay (two weeks or so) in the summer one year in somewhere like this - that way we can finally get to visit Paris, Versailles etc as well :thumbsup2. Plus, the kids get the kids clubs/outdoor pool etc that they would like :goodvibes as well as a bit of Disney mixed in - sounds a winner all round!

Yes the site I mentioned above- Berny Riviere - is used by Eurocamp/Keycamp and several others.

La Croix Du Vieux Pont @ Berny Riviere is a fab big site with lots to do .but like mentioned its an hours drive away from Disney

Le Chene Gris we have also stayed at,it's only 15 mins drive to Disney
