Camping at Fort Wilderness During Marathon Weekend

My husband and I ran the Dopey Challenge this year during Marathon Weekend, and I wanted to share how much we LOVED it! I had been a little concerned that we would have trouble getting enough rest, but we felt more relaxed at the Fort than we have at some of the other Walt Disney World resorts we have stayed at.

I will definitely be staying at Fort Wilderness during other runDisney events we participate in.

It is nice to know that you don't have a neighbor potentially making a lot of noise just on the other side of the wall. That said, there are also those that, because they are in the great outdoors at the fort, that feel they can be as loud as they want. Thankfully they have not been an issue for us.
