Camping at Disney with big family?

We are a big family of 17 we are planning on staying at the camp ground in tents in January of 15 is this a good idea or bad?
If anyone as any camp stories good or bad i would really love to here from you.

Sounds like a lot of fun. You will need to book 2 sites, though. You can only have 10 people on a site if I am not mistaken.

Just remember, it can be VERY cold (or not)

We have been there on the 20th and was soooo cold, but of course it varies greatly, just be prepared!

With the proper planning and supplies this could be a good idea. Without, a very bad idea. Are you campers?

Our cub scout pack will be there in December 20-22 for about 50 campers with multiple sites. For Florida I think it will be nice...humidity and heat should be lower and the bugs should be gone. You should have a great time!

If you have all the equipment, go for it.

just plan for 4 seasons. We go in January every year, it can be 50-70+ during the day and 30-60 at night. But as pointed out, with 17 you will need 2 sites per the rules.
