Campfire Sing-a-Longs

I know that at the Disney campground they have a Chip n Dale sing-a-long, but I have a lot of questions about it.

1. Can we attend this if we are not staying at a Disney hotel?
2. Is it every night?
3. Are there other Disney Resorts that do a nightly campfire?
4. Do they play a movie outdoors after the campfire?

We are staying off-site at the Wyndham Bonnet Creek and I would love to drive over and participate in one of these one evening.

3. A few other hotels do campfires, but I'm not sure if they're every night, and they don't include characters.
4. Yes, they play a movie at Fort Wilderness and at several other places.

. . . but, they NEVER turn anyone away (and I used to work at FW and HDDR)

. . . first, marshmallow roast with Chip and Dale
. . . then, sing-along
. . . then, outdoor movie

NOTE: We go to the sing-along 2-3 times per year. (However, the Security
Guards do not let me sing. My voice is compared to fingernails on a chalk
board. Small animals and children are scared away.)

Are the sing alongs free? We are going to do the Mickey BBQ and sleigh ride the same night in dec and we are staying at kidani. I know that ak has a fire too but my son may enjoy going to one with Chip n Dale, too. Did anyone mention a time they start? I'm on the iPhone app and can't scroll back while I type. Thanks!

What time does the sing-a-long typically take place?

We're going the first week of January when the parks close fairly early. We're staying at the Contemporary, and my ILs are taking their trailer and camping at Fort Wilderness. Currently, we are planning on heading over on the boat one evening and eating with them at the trailer (save us a meal plan credits!!!) and take the kids to the sing-a-long. I was just curious if we should plan on this on an evening when the park we are going to DOES NOT have late magic hours, or if it's over early enough to consider going back to the park?

. . . just tell the driver "Campfire", he will let you off at the pool
. . . walk on sidewalk around rear of pool area to campfire

Thanks! One of the podcasts said that the marina was a great place to watch the fireworks, too. I'm thinking maybe we'll just hang out at Fort Wilderness that evening.

Do keep in mind that the campfire isn't at the marina, so you have to take a bus to get to the fireworks and water pageant viewing.
