campfire pits at the cabins?

Does anyone know if the cabins have campfire pits? Or do they have standard park type bbq grills? It's our first trip to FW so I'm trying to figure out what exactly there is.

They have the regular park type grills at all sites--camping and cabin.

Don't forget the campfire at the Meadow's area with Chip and Dale!

Well at least I can grill a burger or too. Guess I'll be roasting marshmellows over that. Thanks.

I've seen some people bring those new outdoor fireplaces and use them. It says not to but haven't seen anyone in a squad car for it lol. I'm glad you can't have a campfire at FW because I go to some other places and it's rediculous all the soot and stuff that goes on your rig and the area. The campfire at the Meadow is fine by me.

We always bring our Coleman fire pit. It has screen sides and a lid. FW says they are allowed, as long as you leave the lid on it. There's a little door in the side that opens to stick in your marshmallow/hot dog sticks. :)

I don't know where you would use one at the cabins. I wouldn't put it on the deck and the only other place is where your car is parked.

There are still times when the portable enclosed fire pits are not allowed due to dry conditions, the CMs at FW will usually post a sign at each CS. On our last trip in Dec, there were signs stating that absolutely no fires were allowed at the sites and we did see security come to a site in our loop and stay there until the fire was out.
